Note the Tioga Revolver is generally similar to the Bullseye. The Revolver uses a 17mm spindle; the above crank broke at the non-splined end, where the crank was welded to the spindle. Contributing factors probably include a combination of highest loads (greatest leverage) and being in the heat-affected zone from welding. Without closer examination it is not possible to determine the deeper nature of the failure.
