Canondale ``Coda'' crank, based on the Magic Motorcycle crank design. Briefly, each arm is assembled from two ``canoes'' which are glued together to make a hollow arm. Each ``canoe'' is machined but not forged.

Cracked at the root of the junction between the arm and the spider. Crack found by inspection during service.

Crack shows as a dark line on the lower flat surface; crack also extends over the near edge and down towards the marks left by the ball mill, but does not show in this picture.
