Nipple Failure

Aluminum 14g nipple, brand unknown. Laced with straight (non-butted/non-swaged spokes) spokes in to a 36H 26" Mavic 231 rim. Usage implies spoke tension was not especially high.

Failed while bicycle was parked, shortly after wheel retruing/retensioning. Total use unknown. Failure internally at end of spoke, externally where the nipple contacts the rim.
