Bottom bracket spindle fails at shoulder inboard of bearing.

Rider reports cranks rotated 180 degrees, "it took 3 people to free the siezed and stripped BB".

Service history unknown.

Note that next to the bearing is a high-stress area and that the shoulder next to the bearing is a stress riser.
